One of Azeroth’s oldest adversaries will soon tear through the Elemental Plane to reforge the world in flame, but this foe won’t be conducting his reign of terror from the confines of a castle or lair. Deathwing is a destructive force the likes of which adventurers have yet to see in World of Warcraft, and his appetite for devastation can only be satisfied by the shattering of the world. Following his explosive escape from Deepholm, Deathwing will cast a deadly shadow over the people of Azeroth as he wreaks indiscriminate havoc across the land.

Once free to terrorize the world, Deathwing will randomly choose territories in Azeroth to attack each day until his ruinous reign is brought to an end. A blackened sky will be the only warning before every living creature caught in his approach is consumed by his terrible fire. The unfortunate victims of his malice will receive a rare Feat of Strength... as well as a repair bill and corpse run.

When Deathwing returns, you'd best keep your eyes on the skies.

Blizzcon 2010: Novidades na abertura !

Blizzcon 2010 Opening Ceremony
The Opening Ceremony has concluded! Nothing really awesome-new on the WoW side, the biggest announcement probably was DOTA for Starcraft 2, pictures will be available in a couple of minutes.

Chris Metzen confirmed that all the "big" announcements were made during the opening ceremony.

World of Warcraft

• The Moonkin Hatchling will be a new Charity Pet just like the Pandaren Monk, it will go on sale in November.
• Cataclysm will go live at Midnight on December 7th, PST Time. Digital pre-orders will be able to download everything before it goes live to make sure they can play instantly on release day.
• Information on Patch 4.1 will be revealed during the Raid & Dungeons Panel today.

Diablo 3

• Demon Hunter new class for Diablo 3! This feature will be playable at Blizzcon. (Class Page / Trailer)
• PvP Arena Battles for Diablo 3! This feature will be playable at Blizzcon.
  

DoTA for Starcraft 2
Blizzard just announced DoTA for Starcraft 2. I know it's a WoW website but hey! DoTA!

A demonstração de Football Manager 2011 já se encontra disponível, para a descarregar é obrigatório ter uma conta Steam.
Nesta demonstração temos a oportunidade jogar metade da época 2010/2011. Temos à disposição várias ligas; Inglesa, Francesa, Escocesa, Espanhola, Portuguesa, Italiana, Norueguesa, Dinamarquesa, Sueca, Brasileira, Argentina e Chilena.
Os dados guardados nesta demo podem ser posteriormente utilizados na versão final do jogo, dando assim oportunidade aos jogadores de prosseguir com o trabalho já efectuado na demonstração.

De acordo com a SteelSeries, o rato especial para a próxima expansão de World of Warcraft: Cataclysm, demorou 2 anos a ser construído.
O rato foi construído em colaboração com a Blizzard, conforme nos informa Bruce Hawver, CEO da SteelSeries, "Durante dois anos, a nossa equipa de R&D trabalhou bastante com a Blizzard Entertainment para poder incorporar o fantástico feedback e aumentar a tecnologia do rato e a integração no jogo. O resultado é mais conforto, intuitivo e a melhor experiência de sempre".
O rato custará 90€ e tem a forma da armadura de Deathwing the Destroyer do World of Warcraft: Cataclysm.
O rato tem 14 botões, 16 milhões de opções de cor de iluminação, quatro níveis de pulsação, até 5040 DPI / CPI e uma distância de elevação de até 5mm. Podemos também ainda armazenar um perfil da personagem do WOW directamente no rato e mais nove no jogo.
Uma coisa é certa, irá certamente vender que nem pão quente.
